The Bocuse d’Or is a groundbreaking culinary competition founded in 1987 by Paul Bocuse.
Thirty years after its creation—and in response to the growing number of participating countries—the Bocuse d’Or introduced a pre-selection system in 2007,
establishing continental events: Bocuse d’Or Europe, Bocuse d’Or Latin America, and Bocuse d’Or Asia, which became Bocuse d’Or Asia-Pacific in 2014 with the inclusion of Australia.
